DESIGN DAY AT THE EXPO

Why is Sunday of the Conference, which illuminates the essential nature of goods and services in landscape architecture, called "Design Day?" Because landscape architecture's suppliers' work is integral to what the profession creates - so much so that suppliers should be factored into the earliest phases of design. Sunday, November 21, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the activities, speakers, and networking at the 2021 ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture and EXPO will be based on the exhibit floor at Nashville's Music City Center (i.e., there will be no off-floor educational programs in this time slot). The focus will be on information sharing, but in a 360° fashion: landscape architects will learn from exhibitors and vice versa, with forums and activities designed to get everyone thinking about collaborative partnering.
