Da Lat begins construction of US$50m wool yarn factory

Da Lat Worsted Spinning Limited Company has begun construction of a factory to spin yarn from wool in Phat Chi industrial cluster in Da Lat city, the capital of Lam Dong province in southern Vietnam's Central Highlands region. The factory, to be built at a cost of US$50m, is expected to commence operation in April 2019 and employ 400 people. The spinning mill is a joint venture between Germany's Suedwolle Group and HCM City-based Lien Phuong Textile and Garment Corporation, according to Vietnamese media reports.
