SUPPORT from the thermophysics and heat transfer communitynfor the Journal of Thermophysics and Heat Transfer (JTHT)ncontinues to be strong. Between 31 October 2007 and 1 Novembern2008, 161 papers were submitted to JTHT, with 34% originatingnfrom technical meetings. During this same time period, over 390nreviews were completed by volunteers to ensure the quality of JTHT.nThe average time between the receipt of a manuscript and thenAssociate Editor’s decision to accept or revisewas 3.8months for thenarticles appearing in 2008. Fifty percent of the decisions were madenin less than 3.0 months. The average time between final acceptancenand publication was 6.2 months in 2008. The total number of pagesnwas 791, and all four issues of Volume 22 were on schedule.
