InN THE recent past, the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) hasnfound extensive applications in fluid mechanics [1], and itsnapplication to heat transfer problems has been encouraging [1–5].nMishra and Lankadasu [3], Mishra and Roy [4], and Mondal andnMishra [5] have recently extended the applications of the LBM innsolving heat transfer problems involving thermal radiation. Theynhave analyzed various types of problems in 1-D planar and 2-Dnrectangular geometries [3–5].
