摘要

A theoretical model for woven fabrics is presented here to predict the load-strain behaviour of non-plain-weave fabrics under biaxial loading. Earlier published research is mainly based on plain weaves, with a few papers on 2/2t wills. The proposed theory makes use of the sawtooth geometry to deduce the force-deformation relationship for each possible type of interlacement between the warp and weft threads.
