摘要

Effects of solar cosmic ray bursts with the particle energy E_p > 90 MeV on the various meteorological characteristics of the high-latitudinal atmosphere have been investigated using the data of balloon soundings in Sodankylae (Finland). The obtained results show the heating of the middle and upper troposphere and the cooling of the stratosphere in the first 10 hours after the burst onset. The next effects of the burst observed on the second or third day are the lower stratosphere heating and the troposphere cooling. The main temperature changes have been found at the heights ~ 3 - 6 and 10 - 12km. These changes seem to be due to the cloud formation that may be associated with the changes in the stratospheric ionization during the bursts of the solar cosmic rays.
