FREEDERICKSZ TRANSITION IN MICROPOLAR NEMATIC LIQUID CRYSTALS

摘要

The new representation of the micromotion tensor for micropolar liquid crystals is given in terms ot three independent polar quantities. The electrostatic problem of Freedericksz transition in micropolar nematics is solved.
