BIFURCATIONS OF ATTRACTING CYCLES OF PIECEWISE LINEAR INTERVAL MAPS

摘要

We study transition from unimodal to bimodal maps in a three-segment piecewise linear one-dimensional family. It is shown, that such type bifurcation gives rise to the appearance of the period adding cascades of attracting cycles.
