Information needs analysis: principles and practice in information organizations

This book is written by three senior academics in library and information science, all of whom are (or have been) affiliated with Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. As its title suggests, it sets out to offer an introduction to the principles of information needs analysis (INA) as well as supplying practical guidance for those wishing to undertake an INA exercise. I was pleased to find that the book is in no way constrained by its Antipodean origins; it adopts a broad geographical perspective and cites literature from many countries.
