摘要

The authors present an interesting article on the capstone project course in the School of Civil Engineering at Purdue University. In Canada, the capstone design project course has been key to meeting requirements for training in design for accreditation of engineering programs across the country. These capstone design project courses are similar in intent, but vary in delivery method. The capstone design project in the Department of Civil and Geological Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan is similar to the capstone course at Purdue, with one significant difference.
