Buddhism and political theory: a three part dialogue between two worlds

Buddhist thought has not had much of an innings in the social sciences. Or, to put it in the words of the author reviewed here, it has been neglected and by political theorists most especially. While very rich dialogues have begun between Western psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, psychiatry and to some degree sociology, political theory has remained obtusely deaf to the contributions offered by Buddhist thought.
