SMD Hydrovision's latest development in pipeline ploughing, the Variable Multipass Plough (VMP), has successfully completed trials in the North Sea. This followed delivery on schedule at the beginning of June to the owner, CTC Marine Projects of Darlington, UK. Natasha Kahn, Head of Marketing and Communications at CTC Marine Projects told The JOT: 'Essentially, the trials were a success and the plough will be ready for work on its first project for Acergy, which is with ConocoPhillips BritSats in the UK North Sea.'
