The theme of this year's Conference and Exhibition was "Building Drinking Water Partnerships." As in the past this event was sponsored by NEWWA and co-sponsored with the Green Mountain Water Environment Association, the Maine Water Utility Association, the Massachusetts Water Works Association, the New Hampshire Water Works Association, the Rhode Island Water Works Association, and the U.S. EPA-New England. The weather for this year's conference was quite nice for April as there was mostly sunshine and temperatures in the 40's during the day. Again this year there were over 2,600 people at the DCU Center for the conference. In addition to the excellent technical programs there were 137 vendors displaying and explaining what their products can do. The vendors occupied 187 booth spaces and that meant nearly all booth space available was used.
