A Brief History of Water Rate Manuals & Publications -The New England Water Works' Involvement

The American Water Works Association (AWWA) released the 6th Edition of its Ml Manual on water rates at the June 2012 Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE 2012) in Dallas, Texas. The Rates and Charges Committee of AWWA conducted a session at ACE 2012 that highlighted several aspects of the new manual, including a brief summary of the history of the rate manuals. This paper expands on that presentation.
