摘要

The synthesis of higher alcohols from synthesis gas over double- bed catalysts was studied. The effects of operation conditions and the catalyst volume ratios of the two beds on the catalyst activity and product selectivity were investigated. It was found that the selectivity to higher alcohols could be improved over the double-bed catalysts. The products of the first-bed had a strong effect on the distribution of the final products. Higher CO conversion and methanol production in the first-bed was unfavorable for high alcohol synthesis in the second-bed.
