摘要

The applicability of CVD(Chemical Vapor Deposition) TiO_2 thin films as the photoelectro-catalyst (PEC) and the photocatalyst (PC) for the treatment of aqueous phenol is studied. It is found that the coversion of phenol is related to the deposition conditions and the structure and thickness of the TiO_2 films. The maximum efficiency for decomposition of phenol is a phenol conversion of 74.8/100 obtained in 30 min. The films deposited on silicon substrate with a mixed structure of amorphous and crystalline anatase have higher photoelectrocatlaytic activity than those deposited on glass substrate with an amorphous structure. The conversion of phenol by PEC is higher than that by PC.
