摘要

The writers agree with the discusser that as presented in the original paper, modeling and prediction of the permanent deformation of base course materials under frozen conditions are complex. However, the research is important to further improve the current AASTHO pavement mechanistic-empirical design program. The writers think that the results of the original paper, the discussions, and this closure will inspire future study on this topic.
