高齢者の役割作りとインタージェネレーションケアを行うための施設側の方策: 高齢者と地域の相互関係の構築に関する研究

摘要

現在までに，在宅要介護高齢者のためのサービスの 意義やあり方について調査研究を重ね，「地域社会→ 要介護高齢者」のサポートの重要性を明らかしてき た．その経緯のなかで，要介護高齢者には，地域 社会においてケアサービスを提供するだけではなく， 地域社会でその人の持っている力を引き出し，何らか の「役割」を担ってもらい，生きがいを感じてもらう ことが必要ではないだろうかという問題意識を持った．%The contacts with children would help the elderly to regain their concern with others as well as their capabilities. Realizing that they are needed, they may recognize their role in the society and be able to regard their life as really worth living. The interaction of the elderly and children is termed here as the intergenerational care. Through the intergenerational care, children would learn to understand, accept, respect and care for the elderly. In other words, the intergenerational care should be regarded as a two-way care involving the aged and the little ones. In order to create close, reciprocal, and lasting relationships between the two, it is suggested that the intergenerational care should be carried out on a daily basis, in a small scale, and with the fixed members.
