Corporate responsibility in sustaining environmental development began to attract the attention of various organizations in the early 1990s. The main objective of this study is to analyze the effect of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on financial performance of the company. This study analyzes the ethical and CSR problems (Gulf of Mexico oil spill) of British Petroleum (BP) and its impact on its financial statement.
