FOREIGN ACTIVITIES OF MULTINATIONAL FIRMS IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY AFTER THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS

摘要

This paper examines the international business activities of firms in manufacturing industry after the global financial crisis. The degree of international involvement is found to be related to the firm characteristics. There is evidence that multinational firms have changed their behavior during the economic downturn. Factors those appear to influence the international business activities during the normal economic condition show different impact on FDI decision after 2007.
