摘要

The aim of Operation and Maintenance of hydro power stations is to reduce failure rate by ensuring smooth operational levels of the power utility. It becomes very important to achieve high reliability factors by avoiding costly failures and eliminating avoidable outages. While discussing the operating conditions ofthe equipment, the starting/stopping of the units should be planned to be the minimum, to increase the life of the equipment.
