摘要

The Authors used a two-dimensional (2D) physical model to evaluate the effectiveness of baffles and sills added at the step edges or shifting them from step edges for a 1V: 1H slope, short, sharp- or round-crested stepped spillway with an ogee inlet. The energy dissipation of various layouts was compared, and the energy dissipation mechanisms were analysed. The step shape is novel; a lot of experiments were conducted resulting in good data.
