NAHRO's e-Briefings-Remote Learning Opportunities

In 2008, NAHRO's Professional Development Department launched "e-Briefings" as a distance learning tool for Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) and other interested housing and community development agencies. The goal of e-Briefings is to provide updated guidance and insights on significant and "need to know" topics-including new and relevant HUD policies, as well as local ideas and practices. E-Briefings address topics important to PHAs and Community Development Agencies, including: 1. vouchers (housing quality standards, audits, project-based vouchers), 2. data systems and sanctions, 3. income integrity and rent errors, 4. asset management, 5. capital improvements, including financing strategies, 6. affordable housing, and 7. general management themes- leadership and strategic planning, etc.
