The Engaged Health Sciences Library Liaison

Editors Lindsay Alcock and Kelly Thormodson have compiled a fascinating collection of writings which explore the scope and evolution of the health sciences library liaison. Using case studies and reviews, the many facets of the liaison's role are explored. Attention is first given to understanding what the role of the liaison encompasses and how the role has evolved since its development. Several chapters address the multitude of ways that the library liaison position has grown from being just an ambassador or facilitator for library services to providing focused expertise in multiple new roles.
