Sharp Corp. recently developed the XV-Z21000 home theater projector. This is a full high definition (full-HD) Digital Light-Processing (DLP) projector. Sharp will release the projector gradually all over the world as a flagship model. This projector comes with the newly developed .95 1,080-line progressive (1080p) DLP chip from Texas Instruments Inc. With this chip, the projector can reproduce full-HD images without scaling. Sharp intends to promote this product as well as the large-screen Aquos LCD TVs mainly for high-end users.
