Panasonic Raises Eco-Friendly Thrusts in North America

At the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2011), Panasonic Corporation introduced its wide range of three-dimensional (3D)-enabled devices and digital cameras. Shiro Kitajima, President of Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company, Panasonic Corporation of North America, also announced during a press conference that the company had a brisk sales in December 2010, which was 30 percent higher than the earlier projected. Kitajima also announced the Eco Ideas Declaration for North America, comprised of Eco Ideas for Lifestyles and Eco Ideas for Business-styles. The aim of this declaration is to integrate business growth and environmental contribution as a whole.
