New Strategies Elevate Sharp's Solar Business

Recently, Sharp Corp. held a business briefing in Tokyo where it disclosed its business plan that will enable them to become a total solutions company for solar power generation. The company also announced that it would begin mass production of a new single crystalline solar cell with high conversion efficiency at its Sakai Plant in Osaka, Japan, by the end of FY2010 or by March 2011 in Japan's business calendar.
