Pioneer Commercializes In- Vehicle HUD

Pioneer Corporation has entered into agreement with MicroVision Inc., which is based in Redmond, Washington in the United States, wherein the two companies will develop, manufacture, and distribute projector modules including the red, green, and blue (RGB) semiconductor laser light source module. The RGB semiconductor laser light source is the focus of next-generation light sources, because it is possible to develop miniaturized light source modules with better energy performance than conventional laser light sources using the semiconductor laser for the red, blue, and green lasers.
