Despite Lingering Crisis, Solar Power Shines in U.S.

Around 1,100 photovoltaic power generation systems companies in the United States and other parts of the world took part in the annual Solar Power International 2010. The event was held in October 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in the State of California, the United States. Twenty-four Japanese companies exhibited in the show, including equipment materials, devices, and evaluation equipment companies, such as Sharp Corp., Kyocera Corp., SANYO Electric Co., Ltd., and Mitsubishi Electric Corp. The event likewise drew 27,000 visitors.
