For some years now, there has been an ongoing scholarly discussion, in the pages of the Journal of Technical Writing and Communication, regarding ethics and technical communication. Recent participants in this discussion have included Steven Katz, Patrick Moore, and Mark Ward. Now, Matthew Boedy offers a new and important perspective in the lead article of this quarter's issue. It is certain to forward both the discussion and our knowledge of this important matter in our discipline. Inevitably, it will lead to more thinking, more consideration, and-we hope-more scholarly discussion in future issues of JTWC.
