Effects of laser beam modulation on all-optical switching phase diagrams in magneto-optical ultrafast storage device

摘要

In this study we investigate the influence of circularly polarized laser beam modulation on all-optical switching phase diagrams of magneto-optical ultrafast storage device. The influence of circularly polarized light on a magnetic material was considered to be performed through an effective magnetic field given by the inverse Faraday effect. The dynamics of elementary moments and the thermal influence of laser beam on material were described by Landau-Lifshitz-Bloch equation. The complete phase diagrams of all-optical switching are obtained for different pulse duration, laser intensity and modulation, in this regard being established the conditions and the regions for no switching, stable switching and unstable switching of ultrafast magneto-optical memory device.
