Analysis of the Field Radiated from a Plane Aperture Using Its Impulse Transient Responses

摘要

A method for calculating the field radiated from a plane aperture employing its impulse transient responses is proposed. Using the plane aperture as an example, the interconnection between spatial distributions of the monochromatic and pulsed field in the near-field zone is analyzed and described. The efficiency of the time-domain approach to the field analysis is demonstrated.
