The properties of vesicles with a double-chained fluorocarbon surfactant, sodium bis[2-(perfluorooctyl) ethyl]2- sulfosuccinate (SFS), have been investigated with the dynamic light-scattering method, the static light-scattering method, and the fluorescence probe method. Vesicles having the entrapped efficiency of 2/100 were formed after ultrasonication for 15min. The hydrodynamic radius (R_H) of SFS vesicles decreased with an increase in ultrasonication time, and then reached a constant value at 90min ultrasonication.
