The edited volume, China and East Asian Strategic Dynamics, is a valuable publication originating from a March 2010 conference of the same title organized by the China Program, the Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), and Nanyang Technological University. Mingjiang Li and Dongmin Lee of RSIS have gathered a group of first-tier scholars active in the field of Chinese and East Asian strategic dynamics. Despite a few criticisms below, this publication is a welcome and accessible addition to this burgeoning field of study.
