From the Editor

This edition of the Journal begins with another interesting article on forestry aviation in Canada by Alastair Reeves. Having had the pleasure of working on a number of this author's articles now, and after having read others of his in earlier Journals ("Wood That Could Fly" - Vol 37 No 2, Summer 1999 - comes particularly to mind), I've come to think of him as our resident expert on the subject of forestry aviation. We're fortunate to have such an expert in our camp… turning out coherent easy-to-read material on a rich subject which seems to enjoy little detailed coverage elsewhere in aviation literature.
