In convention centers, malls, and the like, a distributed sound system is the only practical way to deliver adequate sound levels throughout an enormous volume of enclosed space. The distributed loudspeakers must install quickly and easily in standard 24-in./600mm. ceiling grids. Unfortunately, conventional technology seems to create as many problems as it solves.
