This study compares housing welfare policy for the elderly between Korea and Japan. It focuses on those who can live independently. This study contains Korean and Japanese housing situations for the elderly and compares housing welfare policy for them between Korea and Japan. Lastly we suggest ways to enhance housing welfare for the elderly in Korea.
