摘要

In this work several runs have been performed in order to achieve the decomposition of waste tires in a liquid medium. The liquid medium selected was used lubricant oils from different engines, i.e., another waste material that presents some problems for its disposal. Some experiments have been performed using a commercially available oil with known composition. The main objective of these runs is to perform a decomposition without emission of any possible pollutants, i.e., the products of tire decomposition being solved in used oils. In this work the process of decomposition-dissolution is studied mainly in a laboratory furnace, but some runs were performed in a pilot-plant scale reactor. The process is followed by means of the analysis of the oil at different stages.
