A tribute to Marianne Blazso to welcome her as Reviews Editor of the Journal of Analytical and Applied Pyrolysis

Dr. Marianne Blazso has recently ended her role as handling editor of the Journal of Analytical and Applied Pyrolysis after more than thirteen years of outstanding service.To be a handling editor is a challenging task and Marianne has accomplished it with constant devotion and scientific rigor. She started her editorial duties in collaboration with Robert Lattimer in 1998 taking the legacy of H.-R. Schulten, one of the founding editors of the journal along with H.LC. Meuzelaar. Then, she edited the journal for ten years with Kent Voorhees improving the standards of our journal which has become the leading publication in the field of pyrolysis and occupies a respectable position in the impact factor subject category of analytical chemistry and spectroscopy (ranked 25th of 70 and 12th of 39 by IS1JCR five-years IF, respectively).
