Pyrolysis-GC/MS Data Book of Synthetic Polymers. Pyrograms, Thermograms and MS of Pyrolyzates

An important book regarding analytical pyrolysis has been recently published in Elsevier. The title of the book is "Pyrolysis-GC/MS Data Book of Synthetic Polymers. Pyrograms, Thermograms and MS of Pyrolyzates." The authors of the book are worldwide known experts on pyrolysis, Prof. Shin Tsuge, Prof. Hajime Ohtani, and Dr. Chuichi Watanabe. The long and productive experience of the authors in the field of analytical pyrolysis is well reflected by the content of the book. The first part of the material presents the chromatograms for the pyrolyzates of 163 standard polymers. The list of standard polymers includes polyolefins, different vinyl polymers and copolymers, diene-type elastomers, polyamides and polyimides, polyacetals and polyethers, polyesters, thermosetting polymers, silicones, polyurethanes, as well as some natural polymers. The pyrolysis for the polymers was performed at 600 ℃ in flash mode, in helium.
