Cybersecurity Comes to the Forefront

Summer is a time for rest and renewal, but also a time for fresh ideas. This year I have had the opportunity to work with many people who are new to the aviation industry. Some have as little as two years of experience in aviation, perhaps coming out of college or postgrad programs, or maybe entering the aviation realm from other, seemingly disparate disciplines like cybersecurity. I have found that these professionals often have fascinating, if not groundbreaking ideas, which are more important than ever as our industry is on the precipice of great change. These young professionals also have an incredible ability to listen and ask the right questions. For many of us who have worked in this industry for decades, the future will be determined by the young aviation professionals we see around us every day.
