NextGen Integration and Evaluation Capability

The NIEC will continue to grow and expand as new requirements are identified. It can also interface with external laboratories if required functionalities or capabilities are not readily available or if the interface is a project requirement expanding its scope. The NIEC display area, coupled with the full complement of the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center's laboratory capabilities, offers a platform that supports verification and validation of advanced aviation concepts and requirements that are needed to realize NextGen.
