Tea-bag-type Sencha (green Tea)

This is a tea-bag-type of sencha, packed in a unique tetra package. Sencha is a kind of green tea originating from Japan. Sencha is fostered under the sunlight and shoots of tea trees are used. The tea is produced by the processes of rubbing and steaming the shoots for a short time and drying at a low temp., resulting in a decent and a slightly bitter-tasting green tea. Sencha is very popular among the Japanese. This is a real-tea house-type thick sencha produced using 100% of the tea produced in Kagoshima, the southern part of Japan. This tea is packed in a tetra pillow pouch, differentiating it from other competitive products. As this pouch is stable, it can be placed as it is even after the pouch is removed from the outer package. The outer package's composition is PET/ad/VM-PET/PE/LLDPE. The package is gas-flushed to prevent the quality deterioration of the tea. As a small area of VM-PET film is demetallized by using an alkali-based liquid to enhance the package's design effect, a barrier-type front PET film is used. As a result, with the combination of using gas-flushing and barrier PET film, the enhanced moisture protection, gas-barrier and light-shielding properties are achieved for the outer package.
