US to build patrol craft for Jordan under FMS deal

The Royal Jordanian Naval Force (RJNF) is to receive two new US-built patrol boats under a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract awarded to Marine Group Boat Works LLC.The USD48.7 million FMS deal, contracted through the Naval Sea Systems Command, covers the supply of two 37 m patrol boats, communications equipment, and other technical assistance. Work is expected to be completed by September 2023.
