A UK industry team of James Fisher Defence (JFD), SEA I and BMT Defence Services Ltd has lifted the veil on a new range of modular, reconfigurable SDVs for covert insertion of special forces ashore. Known as Sub Surface Special Forces Vehicles (S3FVs), the family encompasses dry and wet vehi-cles deployable from air, land and sea. The companies say that the generic design portfolio has evolved to reflect the requirements of a number of potential customers.
