Grand plans for 'transformative' CRTP

The USD5.9 million CRTP is financed by the Colorado Aviation Fund, which in turn is funded from aviation fuel taxes. The project involves Colorado's Division of Aeronautics and towerless Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport, which was selected as the official test site. The CRTP team also includes the FAA's Surveillance Broadcast Services Group and the NextGen Advanced Technology Office and Payne is working closely with NATCA.
