More public energy R&D

摘要

The nation's energy and climate challenge needs new thinking and approaches, like those found in William B. Bonvillian's "Time for Climate Plan B" (Issues, Winter 2011). Unfortunately, when dealing with any policy area, par- ticularly energy policy, one must necessarily confront conventional wisdom and ideological blinders from the left and the right alike. Case in point is Kenneth P. Green's response to the Bonvillian article (Issues, Spring 2011), which makes several egregious errors.
