In this paper, we propose a robust transceiver design algorithm based on joint signal and interference alignment (JSIA) method for a multiple-input multiple-output interference network with stochastic channel error (SCE) model. Our proposed algorithm, namely JSIA-SCE, exploits the stochastic properties of the channel-state information (CSI) measurement error to overcome the performance loss in the system due to inaccurate CSI. The JSIA-SCE reduces both the leakage of the interference signals outside the interference subspace and the leakage of the desired signal outside the orthogonal complement of the interference subspace simultaneously, all in the case of imperfect CSI. Simulation results illustrate that the proposed JSIA-SCE algorithm offers better performance and is more robust in comparison with the existing algorihms in the case of SCE.
