Fruit of Collaboration

Collaboration between envelope engineers and manufacturers has been the elementary key to creating a technologically complex architecture with a notable visual impact. The expansion of the Munich Art Academy, founded in 1876, is the fruit of a competition won in 1992 by the Austrian Studio Coophimmelb(l)au, and the project was made a reality between 2003 and 2005.
