The global service provider Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has opened a new transport hub in Bielefeld (Germany), which will focus on traffic to/from Turkey. The site was selected because of its proximity to major centres of the mechanical engineering industry. Departures for Turkey are scheduled for Wednesdays and Fridays, with daily options available for full truck loads. The new hub offers 4,300 sqm of handling area and 5,000 sqm of warehousing space. Hellmann will employ 75 people in the centre.
